Terms and Conditions


The purchase price for a button 120x37 pixels is £10 for 12 months throughout 2006.
When you 'buy' a button ad you will not 'own' any part of the homepage or this site, but rather you are granted the right to submit an image and link which will then be published on the homepage in the respective space you have paid for.


If your image and link are accepted and published on the homepage, you cannot get a refund No obscene or offensive imagery or links will be accepted, and I decide what is appropriate for my site. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative. In the end it is up to you to adhere to this standard.


If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive or obscene material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one, and you will not get a refund of any kind for the link downtime
If for whatever reason in the future you want your image and link removed from the homepage, just request it be removed, but you will not get a refund and the space will become publically available again.


Images must be the exact size you have paid for (eg. 120x37 pixels)
Images must be in GIF or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size. Animated images are not accepted.
Links can be to your web page or just a static ad.
You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit.
Worthing the button retains the right to determine the location and look of any free buttons given away, those buttons will point to the client web site as long as it adheres to the terms and conditions
Funds must be fully received and cleared before your button goes live on Worthing the button There might be occasional downtime for site maintenance but I'll try and keep these to a minimum
Once you have ordered and the funds have cleared (eg. in my PayPal or bank account), I will aim to get your button online within 24-48hrs
So now that you've got all that, here's how to actually pay for your button via Paypal or cheque.


If you have a Paypal account you can use this method to make your button payment. You don't need to have a Paypal account. Pay securely using your credit card. Please click on the Paypal button and follow the instructions.

Once you have paid for your button, please e-mail with the following:
Attach your image as a GIF or JPEG (must be correct size 120x37) State where you want your graphic to be placed on the homepage eg: top left is position 1 then read left to right.
State which website you would like your graphic linking to (must begin with 'http://') State what TITLE/ALT text you want for your image, max. 50 characters. (TITLE/ALT text appears when people hover their cursor over your image)

As with any new site it can take up to a year to get a good web presence. This is reflected in the price of only £10 a year.

My aim is to get www.worthingthebutton.co.uk on all the major search engines and on as many directories as possible in the local area. A leaflet drop will be organised within the yeat 2006 and when 90% of all button ads are sold adverts will appear in the local papers. Link exchanges with other sites are ongoing. Hits records will be kept and will be available on request. The more we can promote the site the better for all concerned so tell your business colleages.
